A programme by the People’s University of Social and Solidarity Economy, broadcast on Tuesday, 8 March 2016 on FM 100.6, Thessaloniki’s municipal volunteer radio station, on the topic:

“Development and Alternatives”

The programme discussed when the term “development” first emerged and the meanings attributed to it, as well as the particular connotations of the term in the Greek language. It also examined the broad contemporary debate surrounding the concept of development, the problems associated with the prevailing development model, the alternatives available, and how these alternatives are currently expressed in Greece.
