The Social Innovation+ Initiative is holding its fourth annual Social Innovation Forum on 7–8 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
This year the Forum is dedicated to the theme “Building a Common Voice for Social Innovation – bringing together Impact, Evidence, and Success Stories to inspire collective action”.
The event gathers stakeholders of ESF+ social innovation, from ministries and managing authorities to experts and project operators. Among the speakers is Ms Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness.
Participants will look at social innovations that have proved successful across Member States, and at the opportunities and obstacles involved in scaling them up and spreading them wider. A further strand of the programme concerns advocacy: how it can be strengthened through evidence, through communicating impact, and through a closer connection between everyday practice and policymaking. Discussion will also cover the value of social innovation, the role it plays in shaping policy, and the ways it is funded.
The full preliminary agenda of the Forum is available here.
