The book “Skills in the Social Economy – Learner’s Handbook” is one of five books developed for education and training in the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE). The books were collectively prepared by ten authors who are members of the People’s University of Social and Solidarity Economy, “UnivSSE Coop”, within the framework of the European project “YOUTHShare: A Place for Youth in Mediterranean EEA: Resilient and Sharing Economies for NEETs”, funded by the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment.
The books were designed as the main educational material for participants in a 40-hour seminar on skills in the Social and Solidarity Economy. They comprise one English-language handbook for trainers and four learner’s handbooks in English, Greek, Spanish and Italian.
