A programme by the People’s University of Social and Solidarity Economy, broadcast on Tuesday, 22 November 2016 on FM 100.6, Thessaloniki’s municipal volunteer radio station, on the topic:
“Conflict Resolution in Social Initiatives”
The programme discussed the meaning of conflict resolution, the factors that sustain social conflict, and how different conflict-resolution processes can be compared. It also examined the relationship between conflict resolution and social movements, issues of justice, the role of victims, and environmental concerns.
The discussion drew on experiences and lessons from successful conflict-resolution processes and presented broader conclusions emerging from research in the field.
